Onward Motion Helps is a disability-led nonprofit — our board and leadership are made up of people with disabilities building this mission from lived experience.
Onward Motion Helps exists to shatter limits, spark independence, and build a thriving community where disabled and chronically ill individuals can grow, learn, and lead.
Through transformative education, community support, and real-world adventures that challenge the limits society places on us — and the limits we place on ourselves — we help people step out of their comfort zones and into a life of possibility.
Our mission is to empower people with the tools, connections, and confidence to move forward, and rise on their own terms.
Our Impact
Impact isn't measured in numbers alone — it's measured in confidence gained, barriers broken, and lives lived more boldly.
Every driver who's raced with us says some version of the same thing: they came in on practice day as a stranger, and left on Sunday as family. The confidence shift from the first day to the last is something you can see — and it happens every time.
Drivers who never raced together have become genuine friends because of what happens here. Many come back to cheer on and mentor the next group of drivers whenever we're in their area — and we're still in touch with every single driver who's ever raced with us.
